The OPA3692 provides an easy-to-use wideband fixed gain triple buffered ADSP-BF535PKB-350 amplifier. Depending on the external connection, an internal resistor network can be used to provide a fixed gain of +2 for video buffers, or a gain of +1 or –1 for voltage buffers. The OPA3692 operates at a very low 5.1mA/ch supply current, providing the slew rate and output power normally associated with much higher supply currents. The new output stage architecture provides high output current with minimal headroom and crossover distortion. This provides excellent single-supply operation. Using a single +5V supply, the OPA3692 can provide output swings from 1V to 4V, drive more than 120mA, and have a bandwidth greater than 200MHz. This combination of features makes the OPA3692 an ideal RGB line driver or single-supply, triple analog-to-digital converter (ADC) input driver.

The OPA3692 low 5.1mA/ch supply current is precisely regulated at +25°C. This trim, along with low temperature drift, ensures a lower maximum supply current than competing products that only report room temperature nominal supply current. System power consumption can be further reduced by using an optional disable control pin. Leave this disable pin open or keep it high for normal operation. If pulled low, the OPA3692 supply current drops to less than 150µA/ch and the output goes into a high impedance state. This feature can be used to save power.
